Brett Johnson, President & Executive Editor
Brett is an experienced entrepreneur, having successfully launched numerous communications-related enterprises. He started with the Minnesota Collaborative a regional network that assists emerging companies and annually hosts one of the country’s largest venture capital conferences, where presenting companies have raised in excess of $2 billion since 1994. He was founder and editor-in-chief of Minnesota Ventures magazine, a regional business publication focusing on small and growing companies. He was also founder and publisher of Law & Politics magazine, a monthly published in Minnesota and Washington and whose SuperLawyers supplement is syndicated in 40 markets. His healthcare experience began in pharmacy, where he worked with the National Community Pharmacists Association NCPA and founded Cornerdrugstore.com. There, as CEO, he built an online network of almost 2,000 local drugstores throughout the U.S. He was also active in the financing and development of Health Integrated, a leading national disease management company. His non-profit background includes founding the Environmental Initiative in 1990 to address regional environmental issues by bringing together environmental groups, industry and government. The organization has become a model for other regional environmental initiatives. He received his degree in economics from Harvard University.


Chris Scrivo, Chief Technology Officer
The Chief Technology Officer for OneMedPlace, Chris Scrivo, is an IT professional with over twelve years of experience in articulating and delivering technology solutions to implement business strategies. He leads the OneMedPlace team in developing new applications and expanding our growing systems infrastructure. Certified SCSA systems administrator, including Systems Security and Administration, Development, Hosting, Data Recovery, Operational Controls Management and Risk Mitigation. Chris attended the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College with a specialisation in Finance and Economics.

Claudia Pinzon, Media & Marketing Director
Claudia Pinzon oversees the company’s marketing and online communication strategy. Ms. Pinzon is responsible for analysis, strategies and implementation of sales, distribution and outreach programs. She majored in Marketing and Advertising at Javeriana University and earned a Masters Degree in Media Management at The New School in New York City. Prior experience includes: Media (online reporting and production), branding and marketing consultant for small businesses focused on healthcare, fitness and medicine.


William McKeever, Senior Research Analyst
William McKeever is a healthcare consultant assisting emerging healthcare companies with raising capital and corporate finance issues. He is also a consultant to OneMedPlace (OMP) and assisting with various aspects of OMP’s activities including conferences, reports and financing of emerging companies. Before he started consulting, he worked as a managing director at Merrill Lynch in the Principal Credit Group (PCG). PCG was Merrill’s internal hedge fund and he managed the healthcare investments for the department. Mr. McKeever started there in 2005, and specialized in all of healthcare except biotechnology. He oversaw investments which totaled $.5 billion. Prior experience also includes UBS as a managing director covering managed care in the equity research department (He was ranked number one in healthcare services in the 2002 Wall Street Journal Survey of top Wall Street analysts , and was the analyst award winner for top stock picker in healthcare providers and services in the NASDAQ/Starmine poll for 2002).


Gem Gokmen, Executive Producer
Gem Gokmen is the Executive Producer for OneMedTV. She is responsible for all aspects of the business development process including strategy and proposal development, market research, and overseeing the department’s video production/distribution services. Ms. Gokmen also organizes all of OneMedTV’s conference video shoots and event coverage. Prior to OneMedPlace, Ms. Gokmen was a television Reporter/Producer for the NBC affiliate in Reno, Nevada. She led daily newscasts with live, enterprise reporting, covering everything from the 2008 presidential debates and election to wildfires in Lake Tahoe, California. She produced the markets premier newscasts, managing live shows, breaking news, and special event coverage. Ms. Gokmen holds a B.A. in broadcast journalism from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University.

Kasia Zajkowska, Senior Research Analyst. Director, OneMedPlace Europe
Prior to joining OneMedPlace Ms. Zajkowska worked in research and development at London based biotech firm Proxima which is focused on development of oral insulin. During her 5 years at the firm with she was responsible for planning and execution of multiple projects on experimental research on oral drug delivery systems. She also assisted in high-level due diligence to assist investments in the firm by venture capital and large pharmaceutical company investors. Prior to Proxima, Kasia handled marketing and public relations for Vecta Software, where she gained insight into the CRM database development, management and its marketing. Kasia is a founder of Ontino Ltd, a platform for scientists, which aims to facilitate communication and collaboration between academia and industry, using a unique task-oriented classification system developed by the Ontino team. Kasia speaks English, Polish, Italian and French. She received her MSc in Biochemistry and Biotechnology from Westminster University, London, UK and the Technical University of Lodz, Poland.

Lisa Sher, Director of Business Development
Lisa Sher has been an award-winning sales producer at pharmaceutical companies, Zeneca (now Astra-Zeneca) specializing in cardiovascular and type 2 Diabetes drugs, Endo (specializing in pain management therapies) and most recently Schering-Plough (now Merck) specializing in the asthma and allergy market. Her diverse background in these therapeutic areas allows her to be well-versed in many subjects. Lisa holds a BA with honors in International Relations from Boston University. Lisa works closely with companies and investors to make sure they receive all the possible benefits that membership in OneMedPlace and participation in OneMedForums has to offer.

Joseph V. DiTrolio, M.D., Medical Director
Dr. Joseph V. DiTrolio has been affiliated with OneMedPlace since 2007 and is currently the Medical Director for the organization. He is a graduate of the University of Richmond, University of Paris, Sorbonne and New Jersey Medical School. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Urology and is well respected in the urology community for innovative techniques and product development. He is the holder of several Patents and is currently Clinical Professor of Surgery, Division of Urology at New Jersey Medical School, and the recent Past Chairman of the Department of Urology for the St. Barnabas Medical Center Healthcare System.
