Description |
| ImmunoVaccine Technologies, Inc. (IVT) develops breakthrough vaccine vehicles that provide long-lasting immunity with a single administration, without boosting or significant side effects.
| Products / Services |
The VacciMax Platform uses an improved immunizing delivery system of antigens, which are molecules that serve to stimulate the immune response. The result is an improved vaccine product that provides significant, long lasting immunity.
| Technology / Differentiation |
| The VacciMax Platform uses a liposome based antigen vaccine formulation in conjunction with VacciMax technology to produce superior vaccine products. The VacciMax technology serves to stabilize the antigenic liposomes, which historically have only contributed marginally to the production of an immune response. VacciMax's liposome stabilization results in higher-grade vaccines that produce unparalleled immune responses, even from previously considered "poor" antigens.

| Market / Customers |
During 2003 to 2006 the U.S. vaccine market has grown at a projected growth rate of 9.3%, and is anticipated to maintain the same rate throughout 2008. IVT addresses vaccine production in both infectious and non-infectious diseases.

| In January 2008, IVT announced that it would receive $3 million from the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA), under the Atlantic Innovation Fund (AIF). This funding will enable IVT to undertake a $6 million project to develop new potent immune enhancement systems. IVT also announced that it was meeting with Health Canada's regulatory affairs division, the Biologics and Genetic Therapies Directorate, to discuss requirements for a Phase I clinical trial application. On June 5, 2008, IVT, Inc. announced it has entered into a collaborative research agreement with Bioject to assess utilization of the Biojector® 2000 for the delivery of IVT's patented vaccine enhancement platform, DepoVaxTM.
