Description
ORQIS Medical is and emerging company developing novel continuous aortic flow augmentation (CAFA) devices to treat underlying mechanisms heart failure. CAFA is a proprietary approach to treat disordered aortic flow in heart failure by changing blood flow dynamics in the descending aorta.
Products / Services
The company is developing two devices to treat heart failure. The percutaneous Cancion® System for decompensated heart failure is CE marked and being sold in select markets. The implantable Exeleras® System for chronic heart failure is in final stages of pre-clinical testing to ready the product for first clinical use.
