Products / Services
CardioFocus products are also used to deliver diffused laser light for photodynamic therapy (PDT) wherein a photosensitive drug is activated by laser light at a particular anatomical site of action. The Endoscopic Ablation System is an investigational device in the United States , and is under IDE status (Investigational Device Exemption)
Technology / Differentiation
CardioFocus technology allows the precise delivery of diffuse laser energy to create lesions in the heart at specific locations. These lesions are used to modify the electrical conduction patterns in the heart in order to treat cardiac arrhythmias. Cardiofocus technology is also used for photodynamic therapy, wherein light activated drugs are used to treat cardiovascular, cancer and other diseases.
