The inefficiencies, high costs and errors associated with checking in patients using traditional paper based clipboard systems led to the development of a mobile solution to complete the digital loop at the point of care. The mobile solution also includes health assessments, surveys, patient education and other tools to improve outcomes. Patients read educational content from Mayo Clinic, watch videos from HealthiNation and have access to other best-in class health information and applications. By integrating this tool set into their practice, physicians encourage patients to be more involved in their health care. Improved health literacy leads to better outcomes and lower healthcare costs. Combined with the administrative tools for the patient intake process, the integrated solution reduces staffing costs and improves quality metrics.
