Preparation of APCOLL soluble collagen is under controlled conditions to ensure the triple helical structure, which is integral for functionality, is preserved during processing. APCOLL collagen is available as an acid solubilised collagen or as a pepsin-solubilised collagen and can be manufactured to customer requirements in terms of animal age, aqueous solvent, pH and concentration.
