2B Blackbio is a molecular diagnostics company that utilizes genetics, genomics, and proteomics to develop and market new advancements within the therapeutic areas of microbiological diagnostics, oncology, pharmacogenetics (companion diagnostics), and nutritional and metabolic diseases, among others. The Company has launched its first products and services to market, such as the BlackLight® Sepsis kit, which uses high-quality enzymes for identification of any bacterial strain; having been designed to achieve the highest level of performance within the realms of pyrosequencing and PCR-based screening, it in most cases reaches the level of species in less than eight hours, without having previous indication of the etiology of the infection. The BlackLight® Fungal ID Kit just as rapidly identifies the causative agents for about 99% of all invasive fungal diseases found in hospitals, the infection rates of which have been increasing exponentially in recent years. Both kits have obtained IVD CE Marking and are patent protected. 2B Blackbio also offers a wide range of custom microarray services ranging from sample isolation to data collection. Additionally, the Company has recently created a separate brand called Genotest, which provides genetic testing services; Genotest offers Nutricheck®, a genetic testing service that provides nutritional guidelines based on the analysis of 14 different SNPs related to nutritional counsel and diet management. All of Blackbio’s products and services come with proprietary software developed for automatic report generation. The Company’s goal is to become an international referent in Preventive & Personalized Medicine by offering innovative products, tools, and integral services to Society, Healthcare Systems, Pharma, and Biotech companies. This later-stage biotechnology company is currently working on different research projects, with an important support from Spanish Governmental Financing Agencies involving more than € 3,75M raised between grants and privileged long-term loans. |

BlackLight® Sepsis Kit and BlackLight® Fungal ID Kit are undergoing clinical
validation and pharmaeconomic studies at different hospitals and diagnostics
laboratories along Europe and India. Negotiations are on-going for a validation by a
governmental institution in Brazil.

best treatment for a patient with Type 2 Diabetes giving information
about Metformin and Sulfonylureas metabolism. Based on multiplexed

the celiac disease, based on the sequencing of HLA-DQ2 AND HLA-DQ8

BlackBio's targeted microsequencing approach is revolutionizing the standard
clinical workflow in molecular diagnostics. Compared to other SNPs and sequencing
determination methods, their site-targeted microsequencing method is more robust,
simpler and cheaper than microarrays, and with more throughput and accuracy
than real-time PCR, giving a real and exact genetic sequence, obtaining a direct
evidence of the presence of a determinate sequence or SNP within a targeted
nucleic acid sequence, not a indirect evidence of this presence like both microarrays
or real-time PCR shows.
Their products combine an array of proprietary technologies such as:
Enzymatic Reaction Stabilization through Gelification, Multiplexed site-directed
