| Description |
|
Kenta Biotech focuses on the discovery and development of innovative, fully-human monoclonal antibodies targeting bacteria and viruses. Kenta's pipeline includes a series of antibodies that target the most difficult to treat pathogens causing life-threatening hospital-acquired infections such as P. aeruginosa, S. aureus and A. baumannii. Kenta's antibodies are intended as life-saving treatments for the most vulnerable patients in the ICU. These antibodies are designed to target bacteria independently of resistance to antimicrobial therapies and eliminate the infection. Kenta's first-in-class, targeted therapies have the potential to revolutionize the treatment of hospital-acquired infections, by reducing mortality and shortening ICU and hospital stays. |

| Products / Services |
Broad pipeline of innovative fully-human monoclonal antibodies including
KBPA101: a highly specific lgM monoclonal antibody against Pseudomonas aeruginosa (P. aeruginosa) serotype O11 which has successfully completed Phase IIa clinical trials
KBPA102-104: three additional antibodies targeting P. aeruginosa of serotypes IATS-O1, -O6 and serogroup 2 (comprised of closely related serotypes -O2, -O5 and -O16)
KBSA301: a highly specifc IgG monoclonal antibody targeting Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) infections entering clinical development in 2011
Innovative test assay technology: A proprietary, real-time PCR diagnostic kit for rapid identification of P. aeruginosa serotypes developed in collaboration with Roche Diagnostics
A range of novel product candidates in pre-clinical development, targeting some of the most serious pathogens causing hospital-acquired infections (?HAIs?) such as S. aureus and Acinetobacter baumannii (A. baumannii) as well as an antibody targeting Respiratory Syncytial Virus (?RSV?)

| Technology / Differentiation |
| Kenta's proprietary MAblgX® technology enables the generation and selection of fully-human monoclonal antibodies
Due to the technology?s unique ability to capture and immortalize human B-cells from convalescent donors, Kenta's antibodies are immunologically highly relevant and are expected to have a superior efficacy and safety profile relative to other therapies treating hospital-acquired infections. |
