| Description |
|
Wound Management Technologies Inc. is a provider of advanced biotech medical devices, with primary products in the $5B worldwide wound care market. CellerateRX®, the Company’s lead product, is a unique, patented collagen product that delivers the essential benefits of collagen to a wound immediately. By contrast, other forms of native, intact collagen that are commercially available require time for the body to prepare the collagen for use in the wound-healing process. The difference that CellerateRX® brings can create a significant difference in healing for patients with compromised health or circulation. The product is FDA-approved and reimbursable under Medicare Part B, and has been proven as be clinically cost-effective through recent market and clinical validations. The Company's Resorbable Orthopedic Products subsidiary also has a patented resorbable bone wax product under development that controls bleeding during surgery and is able to be metabolized by the body, bringing less risk of post-surgical infection than competing bone wax products that are not metabolized away and can form non-resorbable bone wax granuloma that delays the healing process. Additionally, this later-stage biotechnology company owns a subsidiary that focuses on technology for secure healthcare communications, data collaboration, and data storage. |

| Products / Services |
Lead product, CellerateRX is a unique, patented activated collagen that addresses the expanding diabetes and greater wound care markets.
- Resorbable Orthopedic, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary is developing a biotech product line for resorbable bone wax and bone void fillers based on a patent WNDM acquired in 2009.
- Secure eHealth, a provider of secure health data and messaging alert solutions provides a collaboration platform between health providers, healthcare insurers, ancillary service providers and patients.
CellerateRX provides the wound site with a form of collagen that is unique as it is ready to be used immediately by the body to jump-start wound repair, not just provide structure to the wound bed. Other forms of collagen in commercially available products require time (up to several weeks) for the body to prepare the collagen for use in the wound healing process.
CellerateRX is FDA cleared as a medical device for all wound types except 3rd degree burns (pressure ulcers, stages I - IV; venous stasis ulcers; surgical wounds; ulcers due to arterial insufficiency; diabetic ulcers; traumatic wounds; 1st and 2nd degree burns; superficial wounds, including skin tears). It is reimbursed by Medicare Part B.
