| Description |
Cellegy Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is a specialty biopharmaceutical company engaged in the development of prescription drugs and skin care products. The Company also develops and commercializes prescription drugs targeting primarily gastroenterology conditions, sexual dysfunction of both men and women, and selected conditions affecting women's health using proprietary topical formulations and nitric oxide (NO) donor technologies. |
| Products / Services |
The Company's prescription products are directed toward the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders, sexual dysfunction of both men and women and selected conditions affecting women's health. Cellegy's lead product candidate, Tostrex gel, is for the treatment of male hypogonadism, which usually results in diminished sexual function, lethargy and, in severe cases, reduced bone and muscle mass in men. The Company has completed patient enrollment in its Phase III study using Cellegesic for the treatment of chronic anal fissures and hemorrhoids. The company also began Phase II trials of Tostrelle, a product designed to restore normal testosterone levels in menopausal women. Cellegy has completed development of certain consumer skin care and cosmeceutical products, including skin barrier repairing/fortifying moisturizers and anti-aging lotions and creams.
