Net revenue for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 rose 46 percent to a third quarter record $17.1 million, up from $11.7 million in the third quarter of 2005. Net domestic revenue for the 2006 quarter increased 32 percent to $11.2 million from $8.5 million in the 2005 third quarter. Net international revenue increased 84 percent to $5.9 million in the 2006 third quarter, up from $3.2 million for the prior year comparable period.

BioLase Technology manufactures and markets dental laser systems that allow dentists, oral surgeons and other specialists to perform common dental procedures, including cosmetic applications.

BioLase's principal product, the Waterlase system, is used for hard and soft tissue dental procedures, and can be used to perform procedures performed using dental drills, scalpels and other dental instruments. Strategy

Henry Schein will pay Biolase a $5 million license fee for access to the company's portfolio of intellectual property and technology, and Henry Schein must meet certain performance criteria includign minimum purchase commitments to maintain its exclusivity.
