Description
Memry Corporation produces shape memory alloys used in a variety of medical devices, including stents and catheters. Memry is an OEM supplier of semi-finished materials and engineered components fabricated primarily from nickel-titanium-based alloys, known as Nitinol.

Technology / Differentiation
Shape memory alloys have the ability to change their shape in response to thermal and mechanical changes, and the ability to return to their original shape following deformations from which conventional materials cannot recover. Specialty polymer-extrusion products are used for guide wires, catheter shafts, delivery systems and other interventional medical procedures.
