WinStation Systems -- primarily used by retina specialists and general ophthalmologists to capture color images of the retina and to perform a diagnostic procedure known as fluorescein angiography.
Digital Slit Lamp Imager (DSLI) and WinStation for Slit Lamps -- used by a majority of eye care practitioners, including most ophthalmologists and optometrists, with an emphasis on imaging the front of the eye.
OIS EyeScan -- a portable imaging device that enables practices to capture images of both the anterior and posterior segment of the eye. Symphony and Symphony Web -- ophthalmic PACS products that automatically imports images and diagnostic reports from the diagnostic devices within the practice into a single system.
OIS EMR and OIS PM -- With OIS ophthalmic EMR solution, practices can make the transition to a paperless office using software that manages all aspects of the practice. OIS EMR and OIS PM were created using a single software platform and database.

Technology / Differentiation
OIS' objective is to become a leading provider of a diverse range of complimentary ophthalmic products and services for the ocular healthcare industry. OIS is applying its technology in the ophthalmic imaging field toward the development of new ocular imaging devices and exploration of telemedicine/managed care applications targeted at the general ophthalmology and optometry markets.

Market / Customers
OIS is leveraging its strong market presence and broad client base of more than 2,300 customers in the ophthalmology market by offering a comprehensive line of integrated ophthalmic informatics. Additionally OIS is marketing its proprietary informatics solutions to the OB/GYN, orthopedic and primary care medical specialties through its wholly owned subsidiary, Abraxas Medical Solution.
OIS is targeting approximately 18,000 U.S. ophthalmologists and 35,000 optometrists in the U.S. through its direct sales force and approximately 200,000 OUS ophthalmologists through distribution relationships.
Demand is increasing for ophthalmic imaging due to the aging population, improved treatment results based on early disease recognition and increased incidence of visual impairment due to diabetes, glaucoma and age-related macular degeneration (AMD).
Market forces driving informatics include escalating labor costs, declining insurance reimbursements, increasing regulations, spirally medical error insurance/legal costs, and pay-for-performance. Electronic medical records (EMR) and practice management (PM) solutions assist by reducing expenses, improving quality of care, reducing medical liability, meeting compliance requirement and providing rapid ROI.
