Description
Revance Therapeutics is focused on the discovery, development and commercialization of novel products to treat skin and improve aesthetic appearance.
Products / Services
Revance's initial focus is to develop and commercialize botulinum toxin type A (BoNT-A) products for indications where the benefit of topical application provides a meaningful advantage over the injectable treatment. Its lead programs are in lateral canthal lines (crow's feet wrinkles) and hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating). Revance is in the process of developing a next generation injectable form of BoNT-A that incorporates key elements from the platform technology. The objective of that program is to improve onset and duration of action while eliminating human or animal components in the formulation. Revance is also pursuing programs across a variety of other dermatologic conditions including hyperpigmentation, elastin augmentation and acne.
Technology / Differentiation
The Revance TransMTS technology enables transcutaneous delivery of large macromolecules, eliminating the need for injections or other invasive procedures.
