Two SMSI products are at an advanced stage of development/early commercialization: A continuous, minimally invasive glucose monitoring system, consisting of an implantable glucose sensor and watch reader, that is designed to measure and display glucose levels every few minutes without user intervention; A highly sensitive, fast response, robust oxygen sensor. This sensor has enabled a 510(k) approved, handheld metabolic rate monitor that is currently being commercialized.
