| Technology / Differentiation |
| Uses NIR-DRS as the process of understanding how NIR light (750-2500nm) interacts with various molecules (e.g. fat, glucose, protein, and water) in human tissue. Each type of molecule reacts differently (i.e. absorbs NIR light) when illuminated with NIR light. The amount of light absorbed is proportional to the concentration of that particular molecule. NIR-DRS has an inherent advantage due to its non-destructive and fast nature.
