| Description |
|
Envisioneering Medical Technologies is an innovative medical technology company that develops, manufactures and markets proprietary diagnostic and treatment guidance solutions for the healthcare marketplace. Envisioneering was founded to continue development and commercialization of a unique and proprietary scanning technology that uses ultrasound imaging to guide diagnostic biopsy sampling and to guide treatment delivery. Uniquely keeping the probe stationary improves the confidence of biopsy and treatment delivery enables new generations of diagnostic and treatment devices to be incorporated into medical care. The Company's initial product offering, the TargetScan System ™for prostate imaging and biopsy, combines proprietary robotic ultrasound technology with the capability to perform precise, targeted prostate biopsies and treatments in order to add confidence to patient diagnosis. |

| Technology / Differentiation |
Scanning Technology
Envisioneering has developed a unique, proprietary 3-D linear bi-plane scanning technology. The technology is differentiated from other probes and scanners in that the transducer is able to move in and out (longitudinally) within the hollow body of the probe or scanner while also rotating, allowing the transverse and longitudinal images to also move in and out and rotate. The Envisioneering design allows the probe or scanner to generate movable image planes without requiring the scanner or probe to be physically moved. The probe remains stationary while imaging a full range of scan planes, allowing automated image capture and generation of fine-resolution 3-D images.
Biopsy Technology
Envisioneering's targeted biopsy System leverages the unique advantages of the Envisioneering scanning probe in conjunction with proprietary planning software, a specially designed needle guide to insert a bendable biopsy needle at an optimal angle to sample desired locations. The Stabilized Targeted Biopsy System allows a physician to plan the preferred locations of tissue samples in the different quadrants of the prostate and to save this biopsy plan to file for future reference in active surveillance. The Targeted Biopsy System then allows the physician to insert a biopsy needle in the targeted area, and monitor both the accuracy of the biopsy needle position and the specific location of the tissue sample captured by the biopsy needle. Images can be captured and stored by the system, to verify the location of the tissue samples. |

Urologists, radiation oncologists, and physicians may benefit from this device. Prostate cancer is the most common type of cancer (excluding skin cancer) diagnosed in American men, afflicting one in six men during his lifetime. Every 2.6 minutes, a new case of prostate cancer is diagnosed. Last year, roughly 221,000 new cases of prostate cancer were detected in the United States.

| Envisioneering Medical Technologies has signed an exclusive European distribution agreement with Netherlands-based Isodose Control, enabling delivery of advanced prostate cancer treatment technology to more patients around the globe. Meanwhile, FDA approved TargetScan is available in urology clinics across the United States. The company has also completed Series B financing. |
