| The NeuRx DPS(tm) RA/4: Electrode leads are laparoscopically implanted into the diaphragm motor points & muscle, tunneled subcutaneously with an extension lead to a percutaneous connector site, and connected to an external pulse generator. The generator provides timing and control to activate sufficient movement of the diaphragm muscle to assist respiration.
