FAQs: New Companies & Technologies Report
| 1. | Where do companies and Technologies come from?
We receive leads on promising companies from our affiliates at universities, incubators, regional associations, trade groups, and economic development organizations. We also attend investment and medical conferences across the United States and around the world. Additionally, we have researchers on three continents scouring the Web and reading trade magazines for the most interesting companies and technologies out there. |

| 2. | How do you decide what companies appear in your reports? The NCTR editorial team identifies companies that offer something novel. Specific focus is placed on university-based startup companies, development-stage companies with promising innovations and small or little-known companies with disruptive technology. Using extensive industry experience, our editors look for technologies that have the potential to address unmet market needs and significant issues facing the medical and life science communities. |
