Genoma España nace con el objetivo de promover el desarrollo de la investigación en Genómica y Proteómica, estimulando así la participación activa de España en los avances de la biotecnología

Program/Products/Services
Genoma España is the Foundation for the Development of Genomic and Proteomic Research. It is backed by the Spanish State through the Ministries of Health and Consumer Affairs and Education and Science. Its objectives are: To encourage research into genomics and proteomics To help in the development of biotechnology businesses To achieve financing for Spanish research groups working in these areas. Similar initiatives are already underway in Europe and beyond which are now stimulating the biotechnology sector. With private participation they are helping in research planning and coordination, and are even creating research groups and biotechnology-based companies.
